Track Maintenance Foreman  Full Time

Position Overview:

The Track Maintenance Foreman is responsible for the execution of the track maintenance plan, evaluating the needs for each maintenance action and the day-to-day supervision of the Track Maintenance Team.

Roles and Responsibility:

• Plans, coordinates and executes all activities of the Track Maintenance Team, including spot re-railing, spot re-sleepering, cutting and grinding rail and turnout replacement and repair.
• Supports the Track Maintenance Team’s works scheduling and follow-up service.
• Evaluates the needs for each maintenance activity.
• Communicates with the Track Maintenance Supervisor and the Infrastructure Planner in regard to set plans and progress made.
• Carry out PS, PIC and WS duties.
• Ensure a safe working environment for all employees and Contractors operating in Etihad Rail.

Academic Qualifications:

• School Certificate or equivalent

Professional Qualifications:

• Recognized knowledge of track maintenance
• Knowledge of track geometry
• Full driving license

Experience:

• Relevant industry experience
• Experience in writing reports

Other Skills:

• English as first language or advanced level of written and verbal skill
• Good planning skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate, direct employees and critically assess performance of employees
• Ability to work in a multicultural team.
