1. Role Objective
Supervises the activities of contractors for refurbishment and building maintenance work on all ADDC buildings, substations and plants in all locations of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, ensuring timely and satisfactory progress as per agreed specifications.
2. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Growth & Sustainability related :
· Execute all assigned tasks and to ensure that these are executed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner
· Report on the overall performance and work progress of tasks assigned
Customer related:
· Execute all customer facing transactions in line with ADDC customer strategy resulting in higher satisfaction and timely delivery of services
· Address customer needs, problems and requests in a timely manner
· Ensure the delivery of a world-class customer experience
· Support the customer focused culture minimizing disruption to impacted customers ensuring customers are kept informed
Operational Excellence related:
· Receives requests for maintenance / refurbishment work, prepares required drawings, scope of work, bills of quantity, budget estimation and technical specifications for works.
· Raises Contract Request through computerized system (MAXIMO) and forwards to Section Manager for review and approval, along with all documentation, prior to submitting to Purchasing and Contracts Section.
· Undertakes technical evaluation of proposals and puts forward recommends on technically suitable bidders.
· Inspects materials delivered by contractors to ensure compliance with agreed specifications.
· Supervises building maintenance work undertaken by project contractors, as well as, service contractors such as cleaning, elevator maintenance, etc., to ensure that work is executed within agreed specifications and standards.
· Ensures proper completion of work by contractors and takes necessary actions to rectify malfunctions.
· Follows up and coordinates maintenance projects initiated by ADPower, but implemented for ADDC to facilitate smooth progress.
Performance Driven Organization related:
· Acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate training programs
In addition to the above, the incumbent shall also perform all other duties assigned by line manager.

Preferred Qualifications:
· Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil) or equivalent
Preferred Experience:
· Minimum of 3 years.
