Overview of the role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technician with Industrial Products experience to join our Service team based at Famco DIP. This role is essential in delivering high-quality service for Ingersoll Rand brand Air Compressors, Air Dryers, and related equipment. You will play a key part in achieving our service revenue goals while working on diverse projects across the UAE and abroad, including onshore and offshore oil field platforms
What you will do:
- Perform service, troubleshooting, and overhaul of air compressors, dryers, and related industrial equipment.
- Ensure completion of service activities within sold labor hours and minimize redo activities.
- Work on field assignments across UAE and abroad, including offshore and oil field locations.
- Maintain product knowledge and technical proficiency, especially in Ingersoll-Rand pneumatic tools, hoists, and winches.
- Support the service team with a positive attitude and contribute to team objectives and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver high-quality reporting and communication in English
Required skills to be successful:
- In-depth technical knowledge of industrial air compressors, air dryers, and airends.
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
- Proficiency in servicing Ingersoll-Rand products is a strong advantage.
- Good English communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to travel and work on-site (including offshore and remote locations).
- Positive team attitude and a commitment to customer care.
- UAE Driving License (preferred)

What equips you for the role:
- ITI, Diploma, or Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Electrical from a government-recognized institute.
- 5–6 years of hands-on experience in a reputable franchised dealer or distributor environment.
- Proven track record of servicing industrial equipment with minimal rework and high productivity.
- A strong sense of individual initiative, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
