Organic Chemistry Scientist Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Responsibilities

Conducting advanced organic chemistry analyses using LCMSMS, GCMSMS, HRMS, and related systems.
Supervising laboratory technicians and approving analytical results.
Developing, optimizing, and validating test methods for wastewater monitoring.
Supporting regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and QA/QC standards.
Applying statistical tools to analyze data, identify root causes, and resolve issues.
Maintaining calibration, troubleshooting, and operation of chromatography and mass spectrometry systems.
Providing technical training and mentorship to laboratory personnel.

MSc in Analytical Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry (or related discipline).
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a chemistry lab environment, ideally wastewater or water testing.
Proven expertise in advanced organic analyses (OCPs, PCBs, VOCs, SVOCs, PAHs, hormones, PPCPs, drugs).
Proficiency with sample preparation techniques (SPE, LLE, SPME, Headspace-trap, Thermal desorption).
Strong knowledge of QA/QC, ISO standards (17025, 9001, 14001), and LIMS systems (Labware).
Ability to supervise projects, mentor staff, and communicate technical data effectively.
