JOB PURPOSE

Manage and oversee civil and infrastructure maintenance and project activities across the Northern Emirates. Lead planning, specification-based material procurement, site inspections, and technical support to ensure works align with maintenance plans, health & safety standards, and quality requirements.

Supervise site technicians, suppliers, and contractors, resolve technical issues, and monitor progress to keep projects on time and within approved budgets. Maintain accurate documentation for maintenance tracking, progress reporting, and seamless project handover.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Oversee execution of all civil maintenance works and projects across the Northern Emirates, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Monitor daily project progress, manpower deployment, and material usage against priorities and approved scope.
• Inspect workmanship (in‑house and contractors); ensure corrective actions for non‑conformities and escalate when required.
• Coordinate with the Engineering Planner to update project and maintenance status in the automated maintenance system for tracking, resolution, and closure of issues.
• Lead root‑cause analysis for major breakdowns to prevent recurrence and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate records of preventive, monthly, and annual maintenance activities and routine work (dates, tasks, parts replaced).
• Control maintenance and repair costs to remain within approved budgets.
• Ensure timely closure of NCRs and implementation of audit findings.
• Drive safety performance: track incidents, near misses, training, hazard controls, and compliance metrics; strengthen safety culture.
• Establish and manage reporting and investigation processes for civil incidents/near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Track and maintain all maintenance and project requests via the Maintenance Request Portal.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of civil maintenance contracts, work progress, and handover reports.

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience preferred in food, dairy, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with civil, infrastructure, and construction works.
• Knowledge of MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems and coordination.
