Overview of the role:
Looking for a graphic designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media (internal Com, website, social media, deck, event, outdoor)
What you will do:
Design implementation

• Creating the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. Being the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions and more.
• Graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, it needs to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design
• The main goal is to inspire and attract the target audience

Optimisation

• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Schedule projects
• Improve the layouts of marketing/communication materials, website and other design elements
• Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
• Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic
• Work with copywriters to produce final design
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

Required Skills to be successful:

• Min. (5) years’ experience in same field
• Ability to use photoshop
• Social media experience
• Good communication skills

About the Team:
You will be reporting to Head of Auto Corp Comms & PR and will be an individual contributor
What equips you for the role:
Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Degree in Design, Graphic Design, Industrial design or Fine Arts or related field is a plus
• Graphic Design Degree preferred

Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 5 years
Job-Specific/Technical Skills required to complete the tasks:

• Proven graphic designing experience
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• Microsoft (Microsoft PowerPoint)
• Typography, Branding, Logo design
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
