We are looking for a Junior Internal Auditor. The position reports to the AVP – Internal Audit. The primary responsibility of a junior internal auditor is to provide support in execution of internal audit projects, perform working/ calculation as required and maintain audit working papers/ files. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player who has experience working in supply chain, retail, e-commerce, or digital start-up industries.
- Study and conduct audit assignments according to scheduled annual audit plan.
- Document processes and identify improvement areas during each audit engagement.
- Collect and analyze all working documents regarding systems processes, procedures, and policies in place, necessary for auditing and evaluation purposes.
- Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results and document the process.
- Maintain audit working paper according to the IIA standards.
- Follow up on the recommendations and timelines for corrective actions with process owners.
- Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding e-commerce sector rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.
What you’ll need:
- Possess a Bachelors Degree in Accountancy/ Finance/ other related field
- Ability to examine and understand large amount of data
- Moderate to Native comfort with Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
