Senior Buyer Full Time

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Buyer to join our team at Tranguard Group. The candidate is to be based out of UAE.

Job Responsibility-

• Lead and mentor a small team of buyers.
• Supplier HOD with weekly/monthly tracking and reporting of KPI’s.
• Manage and deliver procurement projects as identified by the Director of Business Support and other Business units.
• Define project scope, targets, success criteria and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential blocks and produce contingency plans.
• Clearly and timely communication of project plans and deliverables to team members and the management team as appropriate.
• Draft and submit budgeted and non-budgeted savings proposals, plus recommend subsequent budget changes and benefits capture.
• Instigate, negotiate, draft and/or manage the development of supplier contracts as required.
• Responsible for ensuring timely turnaround of approved PR’s into PO (clarifying anything unclear specified on the PR with the business unit per SLA’s.
• Ensure all procurement activity and documentation is compliant with procurements SOP’s.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise team members, as required from time to time, regarding their assigned activities.
• Delegate appropriate tasks and responsibilities as required.
• Develop the use of best practices and tools for execution and management of workload as appropriate.

Skills

Experience

• 5-10 years team management.
• 10+ years’ experience in a UAE base FM company (Procurement/Operations).
• Export in managing Subcontractor/3rd party services for FM & Capital projects.
• Expert knowledge of the FM consumables market in the UAE.
• Experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships.
